If you drop an alias directly into Obliterate, it will be treated just as if you had opened the target item. That is, the target of the alias will be obliterated. To delete a selection, drag items over this icon until this icon highlights, and release the mouse button. All items in the selection, files, folders, and disks, will be deleted. Change options by double-clicking on the Obliterate icon anc dismissing the About window by clicking the mouse.
